The American metalcore band We Came as Romans, formed by David Stephens (vocals), Kyle Pavone (vocals and keyboards), Joshua Moore (guitar), Lou Cotton (guitar), Andy Glass (bass), and David Puckett (drums), is currently promoting Darkbloom (2022), their sixth album, featuring the singles “Golden” and “Promise You.”

Since their inception, the band has developed a signature sound by blending metalcore, post-hardcore, and electronic influences—a style that first emerged in their debut EP, Demonstrations (2008). Their full-length debut, To Plant a Seed (2011), was followed by Tracing Back Roots (2013) and Cold Like War (2017). Despite challenges, including the passing of Kyle Pavone in 2018, the band persevered, releasing Darkbloom as a powerful tribute to resilience and hope.

WE CAME AS ROMANS

The American metalcore band We Came as Romans, formed by David Stephens (vocals), Kyle Pavone (vocals and keyboards), Joshua Moore (guitar), Lou Cotton (guitar), Andy Glass (bass), and David Puckett (drums), is currently promoting their latest album, Darkbloom (2022). The band’s sixth studio release, Darkbloom features standout singles like “Golden” and “Promise You.”

Founded in 2005 in Troy, Michigan, We Came as Romans has always sought for a sound that blends metalcore, post-hardcore, and electronic elements, creating a unique musical identity. This signature style was first showcased in their debut EP, Demonstrations (2008). Their first full-length album, To Plant a Seed (2011), was a breakthrough, reaching #8 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart. It was followed by Tracing Back Roots (2013) and Cold Like War (2017).

Despite their continued touring success, the band faced a devastating loss with the passing of Kyle Pavone in September 2018. After a period of mourning, they released Darkbloom, an album deeply influenced by themes of loss, resilience, and the search for hope, reflecting their collective experience in the wake of Pavone’s passing.

In 2025, We Came as Romans will return to Brazil for the third time, delivering a highly anticipated performance at Bangers Open Air.
