Torture Squad is officially confirmed for Bangers Open Air 2026, promising one of the most intense moments of the festival. The band will take the Sun Stage on Saturday (25th) for a special “Best Of” performance, celebrating their 33-year career.
The setlist will be a true journey through the group's history, featuring classics like “Abduction Was The Case” (from the 2001 album The Unholy Spell, which produced the band's first music video), moving through the landmark Hellbound (2008) era—the period when they won the Metal Battle Brazil and represented the country at Wacken Open Air—and reaching the current era featuring Mayara Puertas and Rene Simionato, with tracks like “Blood Sacrifice” (Far Beyond Existence, 2017).
Torture Squad joins the line-up as a replacement for Fear Factory, who cancelled their appearance due to health issues.
“It is an honor to be invited to take this slot. We are fully prepared following our European tour and we’re going to deliver a show worthy of the headbangers,” says drummer Amilcar Christófaro.
