Warm-up on May 2 | Festival happening May 3-4, 2025!

Coming from Salvador, Bahia, Malefactor celebrated 33 years of career in 2024, returning to the stage in October. Formed in 1991, the band carved out a name for itself with its epic sound, which combines black/death metal with traditional heavy metal influences.

After a strong debut with Celebrate Thy War (1999), Malefactor made history as the first band from Northern/Northeastern Brazil to tour Europe. Among their milestones are performances at renowned festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Abril Pro Rock, Setembro Negro, Roça ‘n’ Roll, Brasil Metal Union, Palco do Rock, Guaru Metal Fest, and many more, both in Brazil and across Europe.

Recently, the band reissued their acclaimed album “Barbarian” on vinyl, along with three brand-new tracks now streaming on all major platforms. These new songs will also be part of a split EP with Aztlan on vinyl as well, set for the first semester of 2025.

With an unchanged lineup since 2017 featured by Lord Vlad (vocals, bass), Danilo Coimbra and Jafet Amoêdo (guitars), and Daniel Falcão (drums) and a legacy packed with milestone moments, Malefactor is locked in as one of the must-see acts at Bangers Open Air 2025.
