THE HEATHEN SCŸTHE

Formed in São Paulo by a group of seasoned musicians from the Brazilian heavy scene, The Heathen Scÿthe brings together DA’AT – Tato Deluca (vocals), HOKHMAH – Flavio Sallin (keyboards), HESED – Paulo Roveri (guitar), NETZAH – Bruno Luiz (guitar), MALKHUTH – Marcus Dotta (drums), and YESOD – Fernando Giovannetti (bass). Their mission is to weave together occultism and paganism in their lyrics, inspired by diverse cultural traditions, to help listeners reconnect with the natural essence of their lands through music.

To smoothly and authoritatively explore various pagan traditions, the band coined the term “post-apocalyptic pagan metal” to describe their unique sound. It blends a variety of influences, from the most classic to the most modern. Their musical style is a fusion of elements from classic metal, industrial, power, doom, metalcore, and black metal, crafting a distinctive and experimental sonic landscape.

The theatrical aspect is another hallmark of the band, with significant investment in the production of music videos and live shows. The Heathen Scÿthe strives to offer its audience a singular audiovisual experience. A noteworthy highlight is their collaboration with the Chinese company IGG, who invited them to create a heavier version of the theme for the online game Viking Rise and perform it live at Ragnarök Musik Fest 2024.
