One of the main names in Brazilian heavy metal, singer and songwriter Edu Falaschi will bring to Bangers Open Air 2027 a spectacle that covers different moments of his career, gathering songs from his solo trajectory and classics that marked his time with Angra. The performance will also highlight "Mi'raj", the album that concludes the trilogy started by "Vera Cruz" and continued by "Eldorado". With a grandiose production, the work combines power metal, progressive elements, orchestrations, and ethnic influences, consolidating one of the most ambitious phases in the artist's discography.
Many fans got to know Edu Falaschi when Angra released "Rebirth" in 2001, but the vocalist already had a consolidated trajectory. Before that, he recorded works with bands like Mitrium, Symbols, and Venus. In Angra, alongside Kiko Loureiro, Rafael Bittencourt, Felipe Andreoli, and Aquiles Priester, he participated in notable works such as "Temple of Shadows" (2004) and "Aurora Consurgens" (2006). Also in 2006, he released his first solo project, "Almah", which later became a band and released five albums. His last studio work with Angra was "Aqua" (2010), and in May 2012, he announced his departure to dedicate himself to Almah.
In his solo career, Falaschi has released "Moonlight" (2016), "Ballads" (2017), "The Glory of Sacred Truth" (2018), "Temple Of Shadows In Concert - Ao Vivo" (2020), "Vera Cruz" (2021), "Eldorado" (2023), and, most recently, "Mi'raj". The vocalist also lent his voice to the Brazilian versions of "Pegasus Fantasy" and "Blue Forever", from the series "Knights of the Zodiac".
With more than three decades of a career and international recognition, Edu Falaschi prepares for Bangers Open Air a high-impact show, with a special repertoire, elaborate production, and the strength of the classics that helped build his history. The performance promises to celebrate his connection with the Brazilian audience at one of the biggest metal festivals in Latin America.
