A show specially created for the festival will be divided into two parts, symbolizing different phases of the group that became a worldwide reference in power metal.
The performance, the only one in Brazil, will bring together on the same stage the Nova Era lineup that marked the band’s rebirth phase on Rebirth, with Edu Falaschi, Kiko Loureiro, Rafael Bittencourt, Felipe Andreoli, and Aquiles Priester sharing the stage with the current members of the group. The show will be divided into two distinct parts, each representing a defining period in the trajectory of this true bastion of Brazilian heavy metal, with special emphasis on the Nova Era.
The reunion celebrates the 25th anniversary of Rebirth, an album that repositioned Angra at the top after a turbulent period and that, along with Temple of Shadows and Aurora Consurgens, solidified the band’s second era internationally following the initial phase with the late Andre Matos on Angels Cry (1993), Holy Land (1996), and Fireworks (1998). The contemporary phase will be represented by the albums Secret Garden (2014), Ømni (2018), and Cycles of Pain (2023).
