VÁLVERA
Formed in 2010, the São Paulo-based band Válvera features Glauber Barreto (vocals and guitar), Rodrigo Torres (guitar), Gabriel Prado (bass), and Leandro Peixoto (drums). With three albums under their belt—“Cidade Em Caos” (2015), “Back To Hell” (2017), and “Cycle of Disaster” (2020)—the thrash metal quartet has played over 300 shows and completed three international tours, hitting countries like Germany, France, Belgium, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Slovenia, Poland, and Italy.
In their 2022 South American tour, they joined forces with Prong (USA), performing in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Colombia.
Known for their intense live performances, Válvera boasts a distinct sound that blends several metal genres to create a unique musical identity. Their style has been coined as “neo thrash metal” by the European specialized press. The band is also active across all digital platforms, with four of their tracks featured in online games like Guitar Flash and GrooVR.
Currently, the band is working on their new album, “Unleashed Fury,” and preparing for their upcoming “Reckoning Europe” tour in April 2025. Following that, Válvera will perform at Bangers Open Air 2025.
